Black Ops 6 Prestige Guide: How to Prestige
The classic Prestige system is back in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, replacing the seasonal system with a traditional grind. Whether you’re new or returning, here’s a breakdown of how Prestige works and the rewards you can expect.
How Prestige System Works in Black Ops 6
To start your Prestige journey, you’ll need to reach Level 55 first. Once you hit this milestone, you can choose Prestige, which resets certain aspects of your progress while rewarding you with exclusive content.
These are the things that will be reset when you prestige:

The reward system gives you regular incentives as you level up, including cosmetic items, operator skins, and weapon blueprints. Players who own the full version of Black Ops 6 also get access to exclusive rewards.
Black Ops 6 Prestige Master and Beyond
After reaching Prestige 10, you’ll unlock Prestige Master status, opening up 1,000 additional levels of progression. This prestigious achievement comes with some impressive rewards:
- Immediate unlock of “Sitting Bull Reborn” Marshall Operator skin
- Level 90: “Classified Arsenal” AMES 85 Blueprint
- Every 100 levels: Access to legacy Prestige icons from previous Black Ops games
- Level 1,000: Special classified rewards
For efficient Prestiging in Black Ops 6, use Permanent Unlocks wisely by saving them for high-level weapons or perks you use often. Completing daily challenges is also key, as the XP rewards increase with each Prestige level.
