Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit ramps up the intensity in Night 2, introducing more complex puzzles and heart-pounding chase sequences. This guide will walk players through the key objectives, item locations, and strategies to survive the second night in FNAF Into the Pit.

Escaping Oswald’s House

Night 2 begins similarly to Night 1, with players needing to escape Oswald’s house. Three escape routes remain available: the front door, basement, or attic.

While the front door is risky due to Spring Bonnie’s presence, the ladder and rope from Night 1 are still in place, offering familiar escape options through the basement or attic. Choose the route that feels safest based on your play style.

Navigating the Pizzeria

Once back in 1985 through the Ball Pit, you will face immediate challenges. The first task is fixing the lights. Use your Flashlight to navigate in the dark and make your way Backstage to find the fuse box. Interact with it to restore power. Be cautious, as Spring Bonnie begins patrolling after the lights come on.

With the lights restored, you’ll hear a child crying. Head to the Entrance and use the Screwdriver to open the vent. Don’t forget to collect the Token near the vent. Travel through the vent to reach Storage, where you’ll find the Photo of Oswald on the floor by the presents. This item is crucial for achieving the best ending, so make sure to grab it.

Return to the Entrance via the vent, then proceed through the Dining Area to the Party Hallway. From there, head right into the Kitchen where the crying can be heard.

You’ll encounter Chica, who’ll steal your Lunch Bag after a brief chase. Use the Ball Pit to return to the present day and speak with Jeff about getting pizza to distract Chica.

Collect Important Items in the Present

While in the present day, take the opportunity to gather some crucial items. Visit the Arcade to collect the Space-Age Speakers, go to the Party Hallway for the Control Panel, and stop by Storage to pick up the Electron Gun. These items will be essential for repairing Arcade games later in the game.

Important Items to Collect:

  • Photo of Oswald (1985 Storage, beside the presents)
  • Space-Age Speakers (Present time Arcade)
  • Control Panel (Present time Party Hallway)
  • Electron Gun (Present time Storage)

Creating a Distraction

To steal pizza from Jeff’s kitchen, you’ll need to cause a distraction. If you don’t already have a Rat Trap from Night 1, you can find one among the piles of trash at The Mill.

With the Rat Trap in your inventory, return to 1985 Freddy’s and head to the Party Hallway where you first encountered Chica. You’ll see a huge rat here. Capture it using the crate and place the Rat Trap in the top right corner of the room. Exit and re-enter to collect the Trapped Rat.

Go back to Jeff’s with the Trapped Rat. Find the woman talking on the phone at the far left end of the Dining Area and release the rat next to her. This will distract Jeff, allowing you to sneak into the Kitchen and grab a Slice of Pizza.

Before leaving, interact with the sink at the far right end of the Kitchen to find a Battery.

Luring Chica

With the Slice of Pizza in hand, return to 1985 and head to the Party Hallway. The lights will cut out as you enter. Turn on your Flashlight and continue left to place the Slice of Pizza in the empty box. Chica will come out of the Kitchen to collect it, giving you a chance to enter and find the child.

Rescuing the Child

Once Chica leaves, enter the Kitchen. There’s a Token on the floor that might be hard to see with the lights out, so look carefully. Investigate the cabinet on the right side of the room to find and rescue the child.

Your next task is to return to the Entrance, but be aware that entering the Dining Area will trigger Chica’s alarm state. This won’t cause her to chase you, but it will max out your noise meter and attract Spring Bonnie.

Hide and wait it out before proceeding. There’s also a Token on the ground below Chica, so don’t forget to collect it.

Final Escape

Before triggering the final escape sequence at the Entrance, make sure you’ve collected all important items:

  • Photo of Oswald (Storage, 1985)
  • Electron Gun (Storage, Present Day)
  • Space-Age Speakers (Arcade, Present Day)
  • Control Panel (Party Hallway, Present Day)
  • Battery (Kitchen, Present Day)
  • Tokens: Entrance, Kitchen, and Dining Area (all in 1985)

When you reach the Entrance, Spring Bonnie will attack, triggering a QTE (Quick Time Event). After successfully mashing the required buttons, grab the Token on the ground and make a break for it. Dash back to the Ball Pit to complete Night 2 and return home. Congratulations! You are now in the Night 3 phase.

Conclusion

FNAF Into the Pit Night 2 significantly ups the ante with new challenges and important item collections. By following this detailed guide, you can navigate the increased difficulty, solve intricate puzzles, and progress the story.

Remember to collect all crucial items and tokens, as they’ll likely play a vital role in the challenges awaiting in Night 3. Stay alert, use your resources wisely, and good luck surviving another night at Freddy’s!
