All Vault Locations in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2

Only four vaults remain accessible in the latest season of Fortnite, while the rest have been replaced or left open. These vaults contain rare chests and valuable loot, making them worth pursuing. Here are the locations:

• Coastal Comms Vault: Head to the northeast corner of the map, where you’ll find a small station in the mountains. This vault is located here.
• Estate Station Vault: Travel southeast of Lavish Lair, and you’ll come across a train station called Estate Station. The vault is situated underneath this location.
• Rebel’s Roost Vault: Although not directly within Rebel’s Roost, this vault can be found in a small fenced station in the forest nearby.
• Unmoored Manor Vault: In the southern region, you’ll spot a seaside villa called Unmoored Manor. You can find the vault at the back of this area.

How to Open the Vaults in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2

To access these vaults, you must eliminate the NPC guard stationed in each location. Once defeated, the guard will drop a keycard. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to retrieve the keycard and open the vault:

• Locate the Security Cameras: As you approach the vault, look for security cameras. Destroy them to avoid being detected.
• Eliminate the NPC Guards: Engage and eliminate all the NPC guards protecting the vault. Keep an eye out for the “Commander” NPC, as this guard will drop the keycard upon defeat.
• Retrieve the Keycard: After defeating the Commander NPC, pick up the keycard they drop.
• Open the Vault: Finally, use the keycard on the panel outside the vault to unlock and access the valuable loot inside.

It’s important to note that the former boss vaults from Chapter 5 Season 1, which required medallions to open, have been removed or left open with minimal loot. 

However, the new bunkers introduced in the current season serve as an alternative to the vaults, offering high-tier loot and workbenches for weapon modifications.
