Fortnite x Metallica Collaboration
The highlight of v30.10 update is the collaboration with Metallica. The band will be featured across multiple Fortnite game modes:

Players can expect to see Metallica-themed skins, cosmetics, and even a virtual concert experience called “Metallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury.”
In Battle Royale, a floating Metallica Loot Island will appear in the middle of matches, featuring a stage inspired by the band’s M72 World Tour. Players can interact with holographic versions of James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo while battling for loot and the Victory Royale.
Moreover, Metallica skins will also be available in the Item Shop. These are the skins coming in the collaboration:

New Mythic Item: Ride the Lightning Guitar
Alongside the Metallica collaboration, the v30.10 update introduces a new mythic item called the Ride the Lightning Guitar. This mythic weapon lets players create a lightning arc in the sky that teammates can ride. It deals a lot of damage when they land. The Ride the Lightning Guitar can be found in Loot Chests and as floor loot throughout the map.
Battle Pass Super Styles and Cosmetics
Fortnite data miners have uncovered evidence suggesting that the v30.10 update will unlock super styles for the Chapter 5 Season 3 Battle Pass skins. These styles, potentially named Cold Fusion, Digital Ghost, and Neon Hazard, will offer players new ways to customize their favorite characters.
LEGO Fortnite Updates: New Gameplay
LEGO Fortnite fans can look forward to two new gameplay modes: Cozy and Expert. Cozy mode blends together the relaxed Sandbox mode with the exciting survival elements, perfect for casual players who want to enjoy the game without the pressure of grinding. On the other hand, if you want an extreme survival challenge, you can opt for the Expert mode.
Rocket Racing Metallica Track
Fortnite’s racing mode, Rocket Racing, will also get a Metallica collaboration with a new track called Thrash Mountain.
Despite its hardcore appearance, Thrash Mountain is a Novice track that players can unlock in ranked racing at Bronze I. Additionally, you can also claim the Backfire Car Body as one of the rewards for completing Rocket Racing’s Metallica Quests, along with the Puppetmaster Backfire Decal and Chasing Light Wheels.
Bug Fixes and Gameplay Improvements
As with any major update, v30.10 will also address various bugs and issues reported by the community. These fixes include resolving problems with cosmetic bundles not appearing in the Shop on PS4, preventing players from getting stuck after using consecutive Jam Loops, addressing unexpected collisions on Rocket Racing tracks, and more.
