Medusa’s Snapshot quests mark the finale of the mythological Fortnite storyline this season. These tasks represent the final chapter, following Cerberus’s Snapshot questline.

This guide breaks down the steps to complete every Medusa’s Snapshot quest in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2.

Fortnite Medusa’s Snapshot Quests Guide

To begin Medusa’s challenges, you must finish all previous Snapshot quests first. To remind you, all previous Snapshot quests are as follows:

• Oracle’s Snapshot Quests in Fortnite
• Aphrodite’s Snapshot Quest in Fortnite
• Cerberus’ Snapshot Quests in Fortnite

Once those are complete, you can find Medusa at a specific location and speak with her.

1. Speak with Medusa after all other Snapshots are completed

As noted above, you must first finish all previous Snapshot quests from characters like the Oracle, Aphrodite, and Cerberus.

Then, find Medusa at the Fencing Fields location or use any Scrying Pool to talk to her.

2. Destroy Vases to collect Golden Fleece statues

Your next task is to gather key artifacts spread across Mount Olympus. The first is to collect the Golden Fleece Satues which you can find in the following locations:

• Head to Mount Olympus and locate the first Golden Fleece statue vase next to a marble bench down the stairs at the western entrance. Destroy the vase with your Harvesting Tool and pick up the statue inside.
• The second Golden Fleece statue vase is on the northern temple area of Mount Olympus, in front of a large statue. Break this vase too to claim the Golden Fleece.
• The third and final Golden Fleece statue vase is on the far southern end of Mount Olympus, just outside the big temple room with a pool.

3. Find and Retrieve Medusa’s Broken Harpe Sword

Travel underneath the southern temple at Mount Olympus to a library room.

Medusa’s Broken Harpe Sword is in the library but on the opposite side of the room on a pedestal.

4. Collect a Crackling Hourglass

The Crackling Hourglass is in the same library, underneath the southern temple at Mount Olympus.

The Crackling Hourglass item will be on the ground here.

5. Deliver the Artifacts to Medusa

With the 3 Golden Fleeces, Sword, and Hourglass collected, go back to Fencing Fields and deliver all these artifacts directly to Medusa.

6. Defeat Minions to Buy Time for Medusa

You’ll need to battle one of the Olympian bosses – Zeus, Hades, or Ares – at their altar to spawn minions. Eliminate 6 of these minions.

7. Use a Scrying Pool to Speak with the Oracle

Use any Scrying Pool on the map to speak with the Oracle.

8. Destroy Crackling Hourglasses to weaken Zeus’s Stormforged Hourglass

Find and destroy 3 Crackling Hourglasses spread across POIs like Brawler’s Battleground and Pantheon Path to drain Zeus’s Stormforged Hourglass.

9. Report Back to Medusa

Return to Fencing Fields once more and inform Medusa of your progress so far.

10. Damage Zeus’s Stormforged Hourglass, then Defeat Zeus

Finally, locate Zeus’s Stormforged Hourglass at Mount Olympus, smash it, and this will trigger the ultimate battle against Zeus himself.

Defeat the god to complete Medusa’s quest!

11. Report your Victory to the Oracle

The last step is visiting any Scrying Pool to report your victory over Zeus to the Oracle, finally bringing Medusa’s story to a close.

By finishing every task of Medusa’s Snapshot quests, you’ll earn the following rewards:

• 100,000 XP
• A New Olympus loading screen
• Medusa Insignia spray.
