Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2: Myths and Mortals Trailer Reveals Avatar Korra, New POIs, Weapons, Mythics & More

Epic Games has just dropped the newest epic trailer for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2, titled “Myths and Mortals.”

This offers players a huge sneak peek into the Greek mythology-inspired content headed to the game. The new Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 Myths and Mortals trailer introduces a host of exciting new features, including mythical outfits, weapons, locations, and changes to the map.

Myths and Mortals Battle Pass

Among the highlights are the Battle Pass skins, which prominently feature legendary Greek gods and goddesses such as Aphrodite, Hades, Cerberus, Zeus, Poseidon, Medusa, and Artemis. 

Furthermore, the trailer confirms the much-anticipated collaboration with Avatar: The Last Airbender, unveiling Korra as an unlockable outfit slated for release later in the season.

New Weapons and Mythics

The Fortnite Myths and Mortals trailer teases several new weapons and mythics inspired by Greek legends. Players can expect to wield the powerful Thunderbolt of Zeus, a mythic weapon capable of hurling lightning bolts. The Wings of Icarus is another mythic item that grants the ability to fly. 

Other new additions to the arsenal include the Harbinger SMG, Gatekeeper Shotgun, Huntress DMR, and Warforged Assault Rifle.

Mythological Locations and Map Changes

Mount Olympus, the mythical home of the gods, is among the new Points of Interest (POIs) introduced to the island. The Grim Gate, guarded by the fearsome Cerberus, serves as an entrance to the Underworld, another new location. The trailer also offers glimpses of the Brawler’s Battleground, a fitting arena for the god of war, Ares.
