Explore the new wasteland biome, use Nitro mechanics, and fight the Wasteland Warriors in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3: Wrecked update.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 is here with the Wrecked update, bringing a new wasteland biome, Nitro mechanics, unvaulted weapons, and more. This update introduces the Wasteland Warriors, a group of automobile experts who have taken control of the new biome.
Players can explore new locations, use Nitro to boost their cars and themselves, attach vehicle mods, and fight against the Wasteland Warriors to earn rewards.
The update adds a new wasteland biome in the south of the island, created by a recent sandstorm. The Wasteland Warriors have established several locations in this area:
Players can also discover other changes in the wasteland, such as the Sandy Steppes, formerly known as Snooty Steppes.
Nitro Splash and Nitro Barrels can be found across the island, infusing cars or players with temporary advantages:
Players can also use Nitro Fists to perform powerful punch combos and aerial punches.
Vehicle mods are back, with unvaulted and new options:
Players can attach mods using Vehicle Mod Boxes and repair their vehicles with Repair Boxes or the unvaulted Repair Torch. Service Stations have replaced gas pumps, refilling cars’ gas and health.
Players can fight against the Wasteland Warriors, either in their individual lairs or in convoys. Defeating them will drop their Medallions, granting various benefits, and their Mythic weapons:
Defeating the Warriors also allows players to steal their cars, which have infinite Nitro.
Several weapons have been unvaulted or carried over from the previous season, with some receiving balance changes:
The Wrecked update also includes mobile HUD improvements and a new Battle Pass with Wasteland Warrior and Wastelander Outfits. The season will run until August 16, 2024, at 2 AM ET.
