What’s New in Fortnite Reload?
Fortnite Reload shakes things up with a compact 40-player map featuring familiar locations and unvaulted weapons.
One standout feature is a unique reboot system that keeps you in the game as long as one teammate survives. It’s a fast-paced mode where aggressive plays can pay off big time.

How Reboots Work
When you’re eliminated, a reboot timer starts automatically. Initially set at 30 seconds, it can increase to 40 seconds later in the match.
Your teammates can speed up your return by taking out opponents:
- Downing an enemy: -2 seconds
- Eliminating an opponent: -4 seconds
- Wiping out a squad: -10 seconds
If you’re downed, you can choose to start your reboot timer right away instead of waiting for a revive.
But be careful! Towards the end of the match, reboots will stop entirely.
