To get the Violet Hail, you’ll need to defeat yellow-robed enemies in the area. It’s a random drop so keep fighting until you get it. If you run out of enemies rest at a shrine to respawn them.

Once you have the Violet Hail return to Daoist Mi. But watch out – handing it over triggers a boss fight!

  • Phase 1: Daoist Mi is quick and aggressive. Use the Immobilize spell to slow him down. The A Pluck of Many ability works well for dealing damage fast.
  • Phase 2: After defeating his human form, Daoist Mi transforms into a worm. He gains poison attacks in this phase. Keep using Immobilize and try transforming into Red Tides for extra damage.

Beating Daoist Mi rewards you with the Violet Hail spell transformation. This nullifies poison effects making it super useful against certain bosses.
