How to Start FFXIV The Rising Event
The Rising event runs from August 27 to September 11, 2024. To participate, you must be level 15 or higher and visit Limsa Lominsa.
To begin the event, speak to the Wandering Minstrel, who can be found south of the Aftcastle aetheryte in Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks (X:11.2, Y:13.7). The Wandering Minstrel will guide you through the initial quest, “Rising to the Call.”
The questline for The Rising event consists of two main quests: “Rising to the Call” and “We Who Are About to Set Sail Salute You.” These quests involve various tasks, including speaking to NPCs throughout Limsa Lominsa and visiting specific locations.
Rising to the Call
- Speak to Ayoyo: After speaking to the Wandering Minstrel, you’ll be directed to speak to Ayoyo in the Marauder’s Guild (X:11.3, Y:6.1).
- Speak to Ayoyo Again: After speaking to Ayoyo in the Marauder’s Guild, you’ll need to speak to her again near the main aetheryte in Lower Decks (X:9.2, Y:10.9).
- Speak to NPCs in Hawker’s Alley: Ayoyo will task you with speaking to four people throughout Hawker’s Alley.
- Meet at the Dock: Once you’ve spoken to all four NPCs, head towards the docks at the western end of the map and wait at the sparkling Destination point (X:3.5, Y:11.9).
- Return to the Wandering Minstrel: After the cutscene, return to the Wandering Minstrel to complete the quest.
We Who Are About to Set Sail Salute You
- Speak to Ayoyo: After completing the first quest, speak to Ayoyo again near the Wandering Minstrel.
- Speak to the Wandering Minstrel: The Wandering Minstrel will be standing outside the Marauder’s Guild (X:11.2, Y:7.0).
- Head to the Anchor Yard: After the cutscene, head to the Anchor Yard and speak to Ayoyo at the sparkling Destination point (X:7.7, Y:14.9).
- Complete the Quest: Speak to the Wandering Minstrel at the Anchor Yard to complete the quest and watch the fireworks display.
