Shigandang is much tougher than the Stone Vanguard, so it’s best to face this boss near the end of Chapter 2 with upgraded gear and plenty of healing items.

Shigandang’s notable attacks include the move where it leaps and slams down, causing tremors and summoning explosive pillars. Another powerful move is where all four of its limbs glow before releasing a devastating arena-wide blast. Additionally, the boss can perform an attack where it is ripping its hands from the ground to create a line of detonating pillars.

When battling Shigandang, watch for glowing attacks—when stone pillars or the boss’s limbs glow, be ready to dodge explosions. Use the Azure Dust Transformation, as the Rock Guai form can take heavy hits and deal massive damage.

Look for openings after Shigandang’s ground slams or pillar summons to unleash powerful attacks.
