This detailed guide will walk you through everything you need to know about the Militia in Manor Lords, including all the types and equipment required to recruit them.
In Manor Lords, having a well-equipped Militia army can determine if you survive or fail in battles. As the lord, it’s your job to gather the men from your village and turn them into a strong fighting group.
To start recruiting your Militia, go to the Army menu at the bottom of your screen. From there, you can see the available units and equipment. Click on the icon for the Militia type you want, then choose the “Create New Unit” option.
Once your Militia unit is formed, you must provide them with a rallying point by selecting the “Rally” command. Choose a suitable location on the map, and your villagers will gather, donning their arms and armor, ready for your orders.
Manor Lords offers four distinct types of militia units, each with its own strengths and requirements:
Militia Types | Description |
Militia Footmen | Armed with sidearms and small shields, these warriors excel in close combat |
Spear Militia | Equipped with spears and large shields, this unit excels at holding the line against enemy |
Polearm Militia | Wielding polearms, this unit can strike from a distance while maintaining a defensive posture |
Archer Militia | Armed with warbows, these ranged units can rain down volleys of arrows upon the enemy |
A militia is only as strong as its equipment. To ensure your warriors are battle-ready, you must produce the necessary weapons and armor within your village.
With a well-equipped and motivated militia at your command, you can defend your lands and expand your influence throughout the realm of Manor Lords.
