However, unlocking housing requires a significant investment of time and silver, as well as completing the challenging Black Trench zone. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to unlock house in No Rest for the Wicked.

How to Unlock Houses in No Rest for the Wicked

Step 1: Earn Silver

Before diving into the quest line, it’s essential to accumulate a substantial amount of silver. Captain Randolph, located in Sacrament, offers both daily and weekly quests that reward generous amounts of silver upon completion.

These quests are relatively straightforward and can be completed while exploring and eliminating enemies. Another effective method to earn silver is revisiting previous zones and looting respawned chests, then selling the acquired items.

Step 2: Complete the “Of Rats and Raiders” Quest

To unlock housing, you must complete the “Of Rats and Raiders” quest, which begins by speaking with Winnick in Sacrament. He tasks you with locating and confronting Falstead Darak, a formidable risen leader found west of Sacrament.

Navigate through the cave where you previously battled the first major boss, and you’ll encounter a wisp that teleports you to Falstead Darak’s location. Engage in combat and emerge victorious, but be prepared for Falstead Darak’s escape.

Step 3: Return to Sacrament and Negotiate with the Raiders

After defeating Falstead Darak, make your way back to Sacrament and report to Winnick. A new quest will emerge, requiring you to negotiate with the captive Raiders to prevent an impending attack on Sacrament.

To progress, locate the two guards above the prisoner who mention a drunken guard possessing the cell key. Retrieve the key from the guard near the fountain and return to free the prisoner. This act will grant you access to the sewers.

Step 4: Conquer the Sewers

The sewers pose a significant challenge and require a substantial time investment to complete. As you navigate through the sewers, you’ll encounter numerous obstacles and enemies.

Persevere until you reach the end, where you’ll find yourself back at the beginning of the sewers. Here, you’ll face Falstead Darak once again, who has become even more formidable. It’s recommended to equip a full set of rare gear and be at least level 9 to 11 before confronting him. Prepare for a multi-phase battle.

How to Purchase Houses in No Rest for the Wicked

Sacrament offers three different houses for players to choose from, each with its price and features:

  • The Manor: This costs 30 Silver
  • The Homestead: Priced at 25 Silver
  • The Roost: The Roost is available for 20 Silver

You can find icons representing each property on the map of Sacrament. Keep in mind that the Manor and Homestead are located closer to the Whisper fast travel point in the town center, offering more convenient access to transportation.
