Kogoro Katsura Bond Guide in Rise of the Ronin
You’ll first meet Kogoro Katsura during the Follow Your Blade Twin quest in Chapter 1 of Rise of the Ronin. There, Ryoma will introduce you to the members of the anti-shogunate, where you’ll meet him along with Shinsaku Takasugi and Genzui Kusaka. From this point, you can begin completing Bond Missions to establish a friendship with Kogoro.
To earn Kogoro Katsura’s trust, you’ll need to side with the anti-shogunate faction in either The Plan to Assassinate Harris, or the Yokohama’s Shadow and the Hidden Motives Mission. If you fail to do so, you’ll need to complete Kogoro’s Bond Missions to establish a connection with him.
