Step 1: Preparing for the Journey
Rao wants to check out the area south of Spino first before starting the journey to The East Valley. You’ll head towards Grine Outpost but watch out for the Alpha Raptor. We need to either take it down or steer clear of it.
Step 2: Scaling the Cliffs
Then, continue to the cliffy rock formation where the Wannabe Junkers are guarding. You will need to use the Battle Tank to take them down and clear the path. Once they’re dealt with, we’ll use the Jump-Bot to climb up the cliffs. It’s essential for getting through this tough terrain.
Step 3: Navigating the East Valley
Upon reaching the crumbled bridge, time your leaps expertly with the Jump-Bot to cross the gaps. Two paths lie ahead: the valley floor or the cliffs above. The high ground is recommended, offering fewer enemies and bountiful loot.
Step 4: Encountering the Swimmers
At the cascading sand waterfall, choose the straight path to progress or veer left for an optional adventure with additional loot and powerful Alpha Raptors. Cross the next broken bridge to enter the East Valley proper.

As you ascend the cliffs, a giant boulder rushes towards you, forcing Beelzebub to confront the Swimmers, a notorious gang. In a side-scrolling platformer segment, evade the rolling boulders while Rao provides support.

Once you reach the top, you will fave Swimmers Papa and his crew. You will start by taking out the smaller enemies first, and then deal with Swimmers Papa himself.
You need to be careful and watch out for his attacks. Using the lock-on function will help you land accurate hits.

After triumphing over the Swimmers, return to your robot and continue the ascent. Cross more bridges and navigate through quicksand-filled areas.
