Where to Find Stygian Shards in V Rising

Stygian Shards can only be obtained by participating in Rift Incursions, which are world events that occur in the Ruins of Mortium area. The Eye of Mortium, an item players acquire, will reveal the locations of these events on the map.

There are two tiers of Rift Incursions:

1. Tier 1 (Level 57+): Rewards regular Stygian Shards
2. Tier 2 (Level 80+): Rewards Greater Stygian Shards

To complete a Rift Incursion, players must travel to the designated location and close the Shadow Realm Rifts that are being summoned by Vampire Cultists. This involves defeating the enemies that spawn from the rifts, including spell casters and empowered versions of previously defeated V Blood bosses.
