Wuthering Waves offers various Echoes to enhance characters’ abilities, and among them is the Impermanence Heron, a 4-Cost Overlord Echo. This Echo allows characters to transform into the Impermanence Heron, dealing with Havoc DMG, spitting flames, and restoring Resonance Energy.

To obtain the Impermanence Heron Echo, players must defeat the Impermanence Heron boss at Tacet Fields or during weekly events. Be prepared, as these enemies are formidable and require a careful strategy to overcome.
Alternatively, the Phantom: Impermanence Heron, a unique color variant, can be obtained as a reward in the Depths of Illusive Realm game mode.
The Impermanence Heron boss is located at Camp Overwatch. To reach the boss efficiently, start from the Desorock Highland beacon and follow the path on the right, which will lead directly to the boss’s arena.
If you find yourself on the peaks of Camp Overwatch, you may need to descend to reach the resonance beacon situated to the right of Impermanence Heron. This beacon can be used for easier rematches against the boss.
When facing the Impermanence Heron, use the following strategies to emerge victorious:

Swoop Charge | The Impermanence Heron flies into the air and charges towards the player, dealing damage. This attack leaves the boss vulnerable for a few seconds afterward. |
Double Wing Slash | The boss raises one of its wings and slashes the player with one wing, followed by the other. The animation for this attack is relatively slow. |
Feather Barrage | The Impermanence Heron flies into the air, throws feathers at the player, and then charges towards them. |
Triple Beak Strike | The boss attacks with its beaks from all three heads. |
• Dodge and Counterattack: Impermanence Heron’s attacks are dodgeable and can be easily anticipated due to their slow animation. Time your dodges precisely and swiftly follow up with counterattacks.
Remember that Impermanence Heron is resistant to Havoc damage, so Resonators like Taoqi and Danjin will deal reduced damage when used against this boss.
