In Disney Dreamlight Valley’s “A Rift In Time Act III” update, players face a new challenge in Jafar’s mysterious palace. After the villainous Jafar steals the Spark of Imagination, you must navigate through a series of quests to stop his time-bending plans and ultimately unlock him as a villager.

One crucial step in this journey is feeding Jafar’s raven during the Jafar’s Laboratory quest.

To progress in the quest and obtain the key to Jafar’s throne room, players must first satisfy the appetite of Jafar’s feathered companion. This task is not as straightforward as it might seem, as the raven has particular food preferences that must be met.

Jafar’s raven, also known as “Annoying Nuisance,” requires a specific four-star meal called Bird Food. This dish combines an unusual mix of fresh vegetables and rotten seafood, reflecting the bird’s unique tastes.

To create the Bird Food, you’ll need to collect the following ingredients:

  1. Ripe Carrot
  2. Ripe Tomato
  3. Rotten Fish
  4. Rotten Clam

These items can be found within Jafar’s Laboratory, but obtaining them requires a bit of time manipulation.

Finding the ingredients involves a clever use of the laboratory’s large hourglass. Here’s how to gather everything you need:

  1. Locate the ingredient table along the wall.
  2. Collect the fresh vegetables: Ripe Carrot and Ripe Tomato.
  3. Find and interact with the large hourglass in the lab to travel to a different timeline.
  4. Return to the ingredient table, where you’ll now find Rotten Fish and Rotten Clam.

Once you’ve gathered all four ingredients, head to the nearby cooking station to prepare the Bird Food:

  1. Approach the cooking station in Jafar’s Laboratory.
  2. Add the Ripe Carrot, Ripe Tomato, Rotten Fish, and Rotten Clam to the pot.
  3. Use one Coal Ore to cook the meal.

With the Bird Food prepared, approach Jafar’s raven and offer the meal. The bird will happily accept your culinary creation.

In exchange for the Bird Food, the raven will give you a shiny object called the Power Coil. This item is crucial for your quest, as it will help you locate Jafar’s Key and progress further in the storyline.
