Discover all you need to know on how to unlock Warrior and Sorcerer vocation on Dragon’s Dogma 2 in this detailed guide.
In Dragon’s Dogma 2, you’ve got a bunch of character classes to pick from, called Vocations. Two really strong ones are the Sorcerer and the Warrior. The Sorcerer is all about magic, casting really powerful spells. Meanwhile, the Warrior is more about getting up close and personal, using big swords to smash through enemies. This guide covers how to unlock Warrrior and Sorcerer vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
You can unlock the Sorcerer and Warrior vocations fairly early in Dragon’s Dogma 2. However, you have to complete a specific side quest to gain access to these vocations.
The good news is that you can unlock both vocations by completing this single quest. Let’s follow the steps below to unlock Warrior and Sorcerer vocation:
To begin the quest to unlock the Sorcerer and Warrior vocations in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you need to head to the Vocation Guild in Vernworth.
Speak to the guild leader, who will inform you that the equipment required for these two vocations is currently in short supply. The guild leader will then suggest you talk to Roderick, the Weapons Merchant in the main square.
Roderick reveals that the cache of weapons was stolen by Goblins, who are likely hiding in the Trevo Mine.
Your primary quest will now be “Vocation Frustration,” which involves retrieving the stolen equipment from the Trevo Mine.
To make finding the mine easier, it’s recommended to recruit a Pawn (an AI companion) with Quest Knowledge from the Pawn summoning stone.
A Pawn with Quest Knowledge will guide you directly to the Trevo Mine and through the cave, making the process much smoother.
The Trevo Mine is a linear cave filled with enemies like goblins and harpies.
Eventually, you’ll reach a huge room with several bridges and fires burning.
Proceed further into the mine, and you’ll come across a locked door guarded by goblins. Although you can’t open the door, there’s a treasure chest nearby with a Greatsword inside.
Grabbing this Greatsword unlocks the Warrior vocation.
After obtaining both the Archistaff and the Greatsword, head back to Vernworth and visit the Vocation Guild Master. Turn in these items to complete the “Vocation Frustration” quest, officially unlocking the Sorcerer and Warrior vocations in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
With these powerful vocations at your disposal, you’ll be able to unleash devastating magic or wield mighty two-handed swords, giving you a significant advantage in your adventures across the lands of Dragon’s Dogma 2.
