Step 1: Locate Magistrate Waldhar
The first step in this quest is to find the location of Magistrate Waldhar. He can be found within the Vernworth Castle Gaol Tower, located in the southern part of Vernworth, inside the castle grounds.
Use the Gaol Key provided by Captain Brant to open the cell and speak with the bald, old man seated in the first cell on your right.
Step 2: Find the Place with Plenty of Tomes
To progress the quest, you’ll need to uncover the location of the “Place with Plenty of Tomes.” This can be found at The Gracious Hand in the Slums of Vernworth.
