How to Get the Sunderer’s Armor Set in Flintlock: Siege of Dawn

The Sunderer’s set has three pieces: a helmet, a pauldron, and a gauntlet.

Each piece gives you a unique ability. Let’s break down where to find each piece:

Sunderer’s Helmet

You can get the Sunderer’s helmet in a chest after you beat an optional Revenant boss in the Mireshard of Three Peaks.

  • Start at the Foglands campsite and go northeast through a small valley.
  • Head towards the big crystal overhead.
  • When you reach the Lodestone at the back of the valley you’ll need to do some parkour.
  • Use the Rift Vortexes to get to the Lodestone at the top of the crystal.
  • Then drop down to fight the boss. Beat it and the helmet is yours.

The helmet lets you deal extra damage to enemies when they’re attacking. It’s great for aggressive players.

Sunderer’s Gauntlet

The gauntlet is in The Ravine’s Secret the second region of the game. You’ll need to follow the first few main quests in Wanderer’s Rest to unlock this area. From the Sibyl’s Teeth campsite go northeast to find The Ravine’s Secret.

There’s another parkour section to get to the top of the crystal. Another Revenant boss is waiting for you there. Beat it and check the northeastern corner of the crystal for the chest with the gauntlet.

The gauntlet’s ability is really useful. When you dodge an attack at the last moment you get one black powder charge and one Enki charge.

Sunderer’s Pauldron

You’ll get this piece as part of the main story. After you beat the Revenant at Gallbridge in the Three Peaks area you’ll find it in a chest. Look for the chest right in front of the Coffee Shop in Whitebridge Hamlet.

The pauldron’s ability is neat. When you dodge an attack at the last second it slows down all nearby enemies for 1.5 seconds. This can give you a big advantage in fights.

When you wear two or more pieces of the Sunderer’s armor, you get a bonus called the Armor Synergy Bonus. For the Sunderer’s set, this bonus turns your dodges into short-range teleports.

The teleport dodge from the Armor Synergy Bonus isn’t as amazing as it sounds. The distance isn’t much different from a normal dodge. But the individual piece bonuses are great, especially the gauntlet and pauldron.

To make the most of this set you need to get good at perfect dodges. These happen when you dodge just before an enemy attack hits you. It takes practice but it’s worth it.

Conclusion

Overall the Sunderer’s set is one of the best armor sets in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn. It looks cool with its icy-blue spikes and its abilities can really change how you play. If you like dodging and counter-attacking this set is perfect for you.

Remember Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn has five armor sets total. Each has its own theme and abilities. But the Sunderer’s set stands out for its focus on dodging and risk-taking. Give it a try and see how it works for you!
