Stellar Blade Complete Fishing Guide

Before you can start fishing, you’ll need to complete the “Looking Glass” side quest in the Great Desert.

Speak to Clyde, an NPC located in the Central Oasis, to get your first fishing rod. Once you have the rod, equip it by holding down the D-pad and selecting the fishing rod on the left side of the wheel.

Stellar Blade features five different types of fishing bait, each designed to attract specific fish sizes:

Stellar Blade Fishing Tips and Techniques

To make fishing simpler, go to the accessibility settings and activate “Fishing Controls Replacement.” This feature lets you hold buttons instead of repeatedly pressing them, making the fishing process easier.

When you’re close to a body of water, move the left stick to cast your line. When a fish bites, press R2 to hook it and start reeling it in. Use the analog stick to counter the fish’s movements and press Square (▢) to wear it out.

When the fish stops struggling, press R2 to keep the arrow in the blue section of the circle, bringing the fish closer to you. Finally, press Triangle (△) to lift the fish out of the water when prompted.

Fishing Rewards and Outfit in Stellar Blade

As you catch fish, you’ll earn Fishing Points which can be spent at Clyde’s shop to purchase valuable items and upgrades. These include the Fishing Data and Advanced Fishing Data, which improve your fishing skills and increase your chances of catching rarer fish.

Catching all 25 fish will not only earn you the “Lonely Fisherman” achievement but also unlock the Ocean Maid Costume for Eve. To claim this reward, simply speak to Clyde after completing your collection.
