This guide will walk you through the process of acquiring the alpaca, llama, jaguar, panther, and ostrich mounts, providing detailed information on their locations, taming methods, and key features.

Alpaca

Alpacas are the easiest mount to get in Soulmask. They can be found at an ancient ruins location in the early section of the game, close to the first or second Scout camp used to unlock the map. To get an alpaca, players need to either kill the enemies at the ruins or sneak in, grab the alpaca, and run out.

While the alpaca saddle cannot be crafted until reaching level 15 in awareness, the mount can still follow the player and carry items in its inventory.

Llama

Llamas have the highest carry weight among all the mounts in Soulmask. They can be found in the forest area, and players need medium traps to catch them. Corn can be used as bait for the traps, but adult llamas in the area can break the trap, so it is recommended to get rid of the adults before attempting to capture a baby llama.

Once a baby llama walks into the trap, players can interact with it to capture it. In addition to its high carry weight, the llama has multiple attachments for its saddle.

Jaguar or Panther

Getting a Jaguar or Panther mount is the most time-consuming process. Players need to find tracks on the ground and interact with them until a female version of the jaguar or panther spawns.

The female jaguar or panther goes through a process of finding food, returning home, and resting. Once the female reaches the resting stage, it has given birth, and players can capture the baby Panther.

Players should stay out of sight during the entire process to avoid being attacked by the mother. Multiple traps may need to be placed.

Ostrich

Ostriches are the most difficult mount to obtain in Soulmask, as they are very challenging to defeat.

Ostriches will run away when they get low health if they feel they cannot reach the player. Once the ostrich is distracted, players can interact with the egg in the nest to pick it up. The egg cannot be put in the llama pack animals, and the level of the egg does not matter, as even a level 49 egg can hatch into a level 1 ostrich.

To hatch the ostrich egg, players need to set down a campfire and find the sweet spot where the egg does not say it is hot or cold but instead says “develop hatch”. It is recommended to hatch the egg at the player’s base, where the temperature is stable.
