In Chapter 4 of Black Myth: Wukong you’ll stumble upon a quest involving four purple talismans. These talismans are scattered throughout the Webbed Hollow area.
Removing all four triggers a tough boss fight against the Supreme Inspector. While it’s not required to beat the game it’s an optional challenge that nets you some rewards.
This guide will help you locate all the purple talismans in Black Myth: Wukong.
There are four purple talismans to find in Chapter 4. Each is stuck to a tall pillar and needs to be removed. Here’s where to find them:
Head to the Middle Hollow Shrine. After fighting the Elite Scorpion Prince and getting the Luojia Vine Fragment go left. You’ll see a cutscene with the Second Daughter. The talisman is on a pillar nearby.
From the Middle Hollow Shrine go straight until you reach the Cliff of Oblivion. The talisman is right next to the shrine here.
This one’s tricky. First, beat Buddha’s Right-Hand boss. Then use the bridge nearby to reach the Relief of Fallen Loon Shrine.
Keep going past the Scorpion Prince and use the platforms on the left to reach the talisman.
Near the end of Chapter 4, you’ll find the Court of Illumination Shrine. Instead of going to the boss arena go left into the temple. The last talisman is here.
Taking off all four talismans triggers a boss fight with the Supreme Inspector. This is a tough battle much harder than other fights at this point in the game.
If you hold out long enough another character shows up and asks the Supreme Inspector to leave you alone. But they’re not happy about you messing with things.
There’s a catch though. If you don’t remove the talismans in the right order or if one doesn’t work properly you might run into problems:
So it’s best to tackle the talismans in order as you go through Chapter 4.
The purple talisman quest in Black Myth: Wukong is a hidden gem in Chapter 4. You’ll need to find and remove four talismans scattered across the Webbed Hollow area.
