Genshin Impact 4.6 Release Date and Countdown

The Genshin Impact 4.6 update is set to go live on April 24, 2024. As with previous updates, there will be a server maintenance period lasting around 6-7 hours before players can jump into the new version.

New Character Banners

One of the most exciting aspects of any Genshin Impact update is the introduction of new characters. Version 4.6 will feature a brand-new character: Arlecchino.

Arlecchino, a highly anticipated addition to the roster, will have her own featured banner running from April 24 to May 14. Meanwhile, Lyney will receive his first rerun banner during the same period.

The second phase of Version 4.6 banners will showcase reruns for Baizhu and Wanderer from May 14 to June 4.

Exciting Events in Genshin Impact Version 4.6

Genshin Impact 4.6 will also bring a lot of new events. Here are some of the highlights:

• Overflowing Mastery 4.6 Rerun: Farm double the amount of talent books without using Condensed Resin.

Map Expansion: Explore New Areas

Version 4.6 will expand the Genshin Impact map with new areas to explore in the Fontaine region. The Nostoi Region will introduce the charming village of Petrichor, while the undersea area known as the Sea of Bygone Eras will reveal the ancient civilization of the Kingdom of Remuria.

New Artifacts and Weapons

Two new artifact sets will debut in Version 4.6: Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy and Unfinished Reverie. These sets will offer unique bonuses and playstyles for characters.

Additionally, a new 5-star polearm called Crimson Moon’s Semblance will be added to the game. This weapon is speculated to be Arlecchino’s best-in-slot choice.

Story Quests and Boss Fights

Arlecchino will receive her own Story Quest in Version 4.6, the Ignis Purgatorius Chapter Act 1, where players can learn more about the mysterious Father of the House of the Hearth. Cyno will also get his second Story Quest, the Lupus Aureus Chapter Act 2, delving into how he obtained his powers.

Two new boss fights will be introduced: The Knave’s Challenge Trounce Domain featuring Arlecchino and the Statue of Marble and Brass Field Boss, likely dropping Arlecchino’s ascension materials.
