How does Armor work in Ghost of Tsushima?

In Ghost of Tsushima, armor is equipped in the Gear > Outfit menu. The armor piece, which grants bonuses, is located in the bottom square of the menu. The other two slots above the armor are for the mask and helmet, which are purely cosmetic and do not provide any gameplay benefits.

Players can upgrade most armor sets by visiting Armorers found in settlements across the game’s map. Some armor sets, however, cannot be upgraded.

In conclusion, Ghost of Tsushima offers a diverse array of armor sets, each catering to different playstyles and strategies.
