Learn how to get and use Argent Skull weapon in Hades 2 with our detailed guide.
Unlike the other weapons in Hades 2, you can’t just waltz in and grab the Argent Skull right away. Unlocking and using this skull-themed weapon requires patience, strategy, and a deep understanding of its mechanics. This guide will provide you with all the necessary information to get and use the Argent Skull in Hades 2.
Unlike the other weapons available in Hades 2, the Argent Skull cannot be obtained early on. To unlock this weapon, you must progress significantly through the game’s narrative and explore the late-game areas.
Specifically, acquiring two Glassrocks from the Mourning Fields and one Bronze from the Surface is essential.
The Glassrocks can be mined using the Crescent Pick in the Mourning Fields, an area accessible after completing the Oceanus region.
However, the Bronze can only be obtained on the Surface, which requires unlocking the Permeation of Witching-Wards at the Cauldron. Once you have gathered these crucial resources, visit the weapons room and craft the Argent Skull.
Using the Argent Skull is like a strange dance. Your primary attack is throwing actual skulls at enemies (yeah, a bit morbid, but hey, it’s a cool look). Here’s the catch, though: you’ve only got a limited supply of ammo. So, you’ll need to scurry around the battlefield, picking up your spent skulls like some deranged trick-or-treater.
Fortunately, the Argent Skull’s Special move allows you to charge forward, damaging enemies and collecting your Skulls simultaneously.
Mastering the Argent Skull in Hades 2 is all about patience and strategy. You can’t just button-mash your way to victory here. Nope, you’ll need to play it cool, conserve your ammo, and plan your moves like a chess grandmaster (but with more flying skulls, of course).
