Honkai Star Rail 2.3 Banners and Characters
Honkai Star Rail’s 2.3 update is set to introduce two exciting new 5-star characters: the adorable yet tragic Firefly and the seductive Quantum warrior Jade. The update will feature these characters in two separate banner phases.
Honkai Star Rail 2.3 Phase One Banner
First Phase Banner Schedule: June 19th to July 10th, 2024
The first banner phase in Honkai Star Rail 2.3 spotlights the new 5-star character called Firefly. This Fire-element Destruction character is rumored to be breaking up the meta with her ability to apply Fire Weakness to enemies, setting them up for devastating Break Damage. Like other Destruction characters, Firefly can sacrifice her own HP to power up her abilities.

Second Phase Banner Schedule: July 10th to July 30th, 2024
July 10 kicks off the second banner phase starring the enigmatic Jade. This 5-star Quantum Erudition character brings a unique support twist, increasing an ally’s Speed and performing follow-up attacks to assist them. However, this power comes with a price, as Jade will consume the ally’s HP to fully use her kit.

Honkai Star Rail 2.3 New Game Mode
Version 2.3 will also have a wealth of new content for players to sink their teeth into. Among these is the Divergent Universe, an optimized Simulated Universe mode featuring new Blessing systems, Curios, and its own unique progression.
This mode streamlines the process of farming Planar Ornament sets, allowing players to save their progress and efficiently target specific pieces.
The Divergent Universe also brings new feature to the system:
- Arithmetic Mapping: Automatically adjusts characters’ levels to meet the current Equilibrium Level Cap.
- Equation Feature: Combines buffs from two different Paths to grant new combat abilities.
- Restart Challenge Option: Allows players to restart challenges without forcing a game stop, enhancing strategy and playability.
For those seeking a high-octane challenge, the Apocalyptic Shadow mode pits Trailblazers against powerful bosses in their complete forms. With the total Stellar Jades reward per rotation across all modes increased to 800 for perfect clears, there’s never been a better time to test your mettle.
Honkai Star Rail 2.3 Events
No Honkai Star Rail update would be complete without a generous helping of events. The beloved Gift of Odyssey returns, granting players 10 free pulls on the limited banner.
The Origami Bird Clash minigame event and the Stellar Flare battle event, Stellar Shimmer, provide additional opportunities to obtain precious Jades.
Version 2.3 also brings a welcome quality-of-life change for new players. The “When Charmony Rings Out” event allows Trailblazers to unlock the Harmony form early, even if they haven’t completed the 2.2 Trailblaze Mission.
