According to a dataminer on Reddit called ImNotNex, the leaked event introduces a room decoration system where you must complete various tasks to earn “Express Fund” currency. Through the Dinner Meeting segment and other duties, you can upgrade your room while working toward claiming your chosen character.

Based on the leak, you will have the opportunity to select one of these 4-star characters:

  • Moze – The recently added character from Version 2.5
  • Misha – The Version 2.0 addition to the roster
  • Xueyi – Introduced in Version 1.6
  • Lynx – Released during Version 1.3

The addition of a free character selector comes at an interesting time for Honkai: Star Rail. With the game now featuring 57 playable characters, this event provides a valuable opportunity for you to add a powerful 4-star character to your teams without spending resources.

Current Banner Updates

Before Version 2.7 arrives, you should note several important dates:

  • October 22: End of Version 2.5 Phase 2 (Lingsha and Topaz banners)
  • Same Day: Start of next major update featuring:
    • Phase 1: Rappa and Imbibitor Lunae
    • Phase 2: Archeron and Aventurine

While this information comes from leaks and should be treated accordingly, the track record of Honkai: Star Rail offering free characters suggests this event has a strong chance of becoming reality.
