Discover the steps to get the Frozen Northern Pike in Once Human. Learn where to fish, how to get the blueprint, and craft this melee weapon.
The Frozen Northern Pike is a weird but effective melee weapon that’s worth getting your hands on in Once Human. Let’s dive into how you can add the Frozen Northern Pike to your arsenal in Once Human.
First things first you need to go fishing. The fish you want to after are the Northern Pikes.
You’ll need to catch 11 of these slippery fellas, 10 for the blueprint and 1 for crafting the weapon itself.
The best spot to cast your line is at Meyer’s Market docks. Head to the south of the zone and look for the large body of water. You’ll often see Northern Pike graphics swimming around there.
Don’t waste your time fishing in the river near the northern entrance of Meyer’s Market. That’s where you’ll mostly catch Sucker Fish and other less useful catches.
Make sure you’ve got a fishing rod and some bait. You can buy bait from the fishing stall on the dock or make your own if you’ve got the right materials and recipes.
Once you’ve reeled in 11 Northern Pikes it’s time for the next step.
Now you need to find Margerie. She’s the NPC who sells fishing-related items. You’ll find her at a small pier in the Red Sands region. Look for coordinates (7220, 103) on your map.
When you find Margerie trade 10 of your Northern Pikes for the Frozen Northern Pike blueprint. Don’t worry if it says “Frozen Tilapia” – that’s just a quirk in the game.
Head to your Gear Workbench with your newly acquired blueprint. To craft the Frozen Northern Pike you’ll need:
To make ice cubes you’ll need a Fridge and some Purified Water. Don’t use Boiled Water – it won’t work! You can get Purified Water from Water Purifiers. Just chuck some Dirty Water in there and wait.
Remember these machines need power so make sure you’ve got enough juice to keep them running.
And there you have it! Follow these steps and you’ll soon be wielding a frozen fish as a weapon. It might sound silly but this icy pike packs a punch. Give it a swing and watch as it freezes your enemies and creates a frosty vortex of doom.
So grab your fishing rod and get to work. That Frozen Northern Pike isn’t going to catch itself!
