Learn how to craft thick leather in V Rising with our guide. Discover where to find thick hides and oil, and how to build the tannery.
V Rising offers players a vast world to explore and numerous resources to gather. One of the essential crafting materials in the game is thick leather, which is required for creating items such as waterskins, cloth, and more.
However, obtaining thick leather can be a bit confusing for new players. This guide will provide step-by-step instructions on how to get thick leather in V Rising and use it to craft important items.
The first step in obtaining thick leather is to unlock the tannery, the crafting station responsible for processing thick hides into thick leather. To do this, players must hunt down and defeat the boss Keely the Frost Archer, located in the Farbane Woods area.
Keely is a level 20 ranged enemy with powerful frost attacks, so players should ensure they have a gear score of at least 17 before attempting to take her on.
Once Keely is defeated, players will receive the blueprints for the tannery, allowing them to build this essential crafting station in their castle.
After obtaining the tannery blueprints, return to the castle and construct the tannery using the required materials. To craft thick leather, the tannery requires two key ingredients: oil and thick hides.
With oil and thick hides in hand, players can now craft thick leather using the tannery. Simply place the required materials inside the tannery, and as long as the castle heart is powered, the crafting process will begin.
