How to Hire Retinue in Manor Lords
The first step towards acquiring a Retinue is constructing a Manor within your settlement. This grand structure requires a Settlement Level of at least a Small Village, along with resources such as Timber x5, Planks x20, and Stone x15.
Once the Manor is complete, players will automatically receive a small Retinue consisting of five soldiers – a significant upgrade from the basic Militia. While modest in size, this initial Retinue boasts superior combat prowess.
To further expand the Retinue’s ranks, players can recruit additional soldiers for 50 Treasury per soldier, up to a maximum of 12. However, this limit can be increased by constructing Garrison Towers within the Manor complex.
After participating in combat, the Retinue will earn Skill Points that can be invested in various upgrades, enhancing their capabilities. Engaging in Bandit Camp Raids is an effective way to earn these points and strengthen the Retinue.
