Difficulty Levels: The Virtual Trainer offers two distinct difficulty modes:

  1. Original Mode: In this mode, you fight bosses at the same power level as when you first encountered them during the main story.
  2. Challenge Mode: All enemies start at level 100. Each time you complete Challenge Mode, the enemies’ levels increase by 100, with a cap at level 999. Additionally, enemies have extra Press Turns, use Omagatoki: Pierce instead of Omagatoki: Critical, and possess the passive skill Impaler’s Revenge.

List of Battles and Enemies: While the full list of Virtual Trainer battles is still being compiled, here are a few examples of the battles you can expect:

  • Minato Battles:
    • Hydra
    • Eligor + 2x Andras
    • Nuwa

Progress Through the Story: To unlock more battle options, continue progressing through the main storyline. This is particularly important if you plan on tackling the Challenge Mode, as completing the story will give you access to a wider variety of battles.

Virtual Trainer Mechanics:

  • Boss Rush Without Downtime: In the Virtual Trainer, you’ll face a series of boss battles consecutively without any downtime to heal your party. It’s crucial to prepare your team thoroughly to handle multiple tough encounters in succession.
  • Game Over Consequence: If the protagonist dies at any point during the Virtual Trainer battles, it’s game over. You’ll need to reload a save from the main menu to try again.

Rewards: The primary rewards for completing Virtual Trainer battles are experience points and money. While these rewards can help in leveling up and gaining Macca, the main purpose of the Virtual Trainer is to test your team composition and strategies.
