What is God Mode in Hades 2?

God Mode gives you increased damage resistance, allowing you to take more hits from enemies before being defeated. When activated, you immediately gain 20% damage resistance.

However, the real power lies in its stacking ability – each time you die, your damage resistance increases by an additional 2%, up to a maximum of 80%.

How to Use God Mode in Hades 2

Enabling God Mode is a simple process that can be done at any point during your playthroughs. Here’s how:

• Pause the game and access the Options menu.
• Navigate to the Gameplay tab.
• Locate the “God Mode” option and check the box to enable it.

That’s it! You’ll receive confirmation that God Mode is active, providing you with that initial 20% damage resistance boost.

Stacking Damage Resistance with God Mode

While the 20% resistance is already handy, the true strength of God Mode comes from repeatedly dying and allowing that resistance to stack up.

Each time you die with God Mode on, your damage resistance increases by 2%. So the more you die, the stronger you become on your next attempt.

It’s important to note that if you disable God Mode after building up resistance, you’ll lose all those stacking benefits. However, re-enabling it will restore your previously earned resistance, so you won’t have to start from scratch.

No Achievement Lockouts (Potentially)

Based on the previous Hades game, it’s likely that achievements will still be attainable even with God Mode enabled. However, Supergiant Games has yet to confirm this for Hades 2 officially.
