The Mid-Season Invitational 2024 will unfold across three key stages. This is what the MSI Schedule looks like this year:

  1. Play-In Stage: May 1-5
  2. Bracket Stage: May 7-12 (first half), May 14-18 (second half)
  3. Finals: May 19

Play-In Stage: Eight teams compete in the Play-In Stage: the top seeds from the LLA, CBLOL, PCS, and VCS are joined by the second seeds from the LCK, LPL, LEC, and LCS. These teams will compete in best-of-three (Bo3) matches across two double-elimination tournaments. Each bracket’s champions and runners-up move on to the Bracket Stage.

Bracket Stage: Eight teams—four from the Play-In Stage and the top seeds from the LCK, LPL, LEC, and LCS—will compete in the Bracket Stage. A single double-elimination bracket will be used to contest these teams, and games will follow the best-of-five (Bo5) format. The two teams who go to the Finals are the ones that win this round.

Finals: On May 19, the two surviving teams will square off in an exciting best-of-five (Bo5) series at the MSI 2024 Finals. The victor will be named the MSI 2024 Champion and will guarantee their region’s straight qualifying for the 2024 World Championship.
