Learn how to complete the Lost in Madness quest and find the Cultist Treasure in Once Human with our step-by-step guide.
The Lost in Madness quest in Once Human sends you on a treasure hunt across Nalcott Island. You’ll need to decode a map and find the Cultist Treasure. While it sounds simple this quest can be tricky.
Here’s how to complete the Lost in Madness quest in Once Human.
First, you need to get the Cultist Treasure map. Head to the BN store near Coastside Plaza settlement.
Look for a weird ritual circle inside and interact with the red candle. This spawns a crate with the map.
The map points to Chalk Peak in the northwest. But there’s a catch – you need to be level 32+ to enter this area.
The barrier will kill you if you’re too low level. So you’ll have to level up before continuing the quest.
Once you hit level 32 head to Chalk Peak. Go to the Tall Grass Inn in the south. Look west for a big monolith structure. Compare it to your map – this is near the treasure spot.
Head west from the inn to reach Believer Colony. The Cultist Treasure is here between the monolith shapes.
At Believer Colony you’ll face some cultists. Take them out first. Then find four Lucky Cat statues. Give each one a gift to get treasure key fragments. Combine the fragments to open the treasure chest.
And that’s it! You’ve completed the Lost in Madness quest and claimed the Cultist Treasure.
It takes some patience to reach the right level but the payoff is worth it. Happy treasure hunting in Once Human!
