Big news for Pokemon trainers! Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are getting ready to welcome a powerful new challenger. The beloved Johto starter Pokemon Feraligatr is making its way to the game as a formidable Seven-Star Tera Raid boss. This special event brings an exciting twist to the classic Water-type Pokemon by giving it a Dark-type Tera form.

Dark Tera Feraligatr Raid Event Schedule

The upcoming raid event offers two separate windows for trainers to challenge Dark Tera Feraligatr:

  • First Round: October 31 – November 3 (8:00 PM Eastern)
  • Second Round: November 7 – November 10

This isn’t just any ordinary Feraligatr. The raid features a special version called “Feraligatr the Unrivaled” that comes with some unique characteristics:

  • Dark Tera Type instead of its usual Water-type
  • Sheer Force ability that powers up certain moves
  • Mightiest Mark awarded to teams who defeat it

Just like any other Dark-types in other Pokemon games, The Dark-type Tera Feraligatr brings some clear weaknesses that trainers can exploit:

  • Fighting-type moves
  • Fairy-type attacks
  • Bug-type moves

Strong Pokemon like Sylveon or Tinkaton might prove particularly effective against this raid boss.

Movepool and Abilities

Trainers should prepare for a variety of powerful moves, including:

  • Crunch
  • Liquidation
  • Ice Punch
  • Ancient Power
  • Metal Claw

Thanks to its Sheer Force ability, these moves will hit harder than usual, though they’ll lose their secondary effects.

This exciting raid event follows recent Ghost-type events in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, offering trainers a fresh challenge. The unique combination of Feraligatr’s natural strength and its Dark Tera typing should provide an interesting battle for Pokemon trainers of all skill levels.
