Learn how to get the mighty Crystal Staff in Remnant 2 The Forgotten Kingdom DLC in this detailed guide.
Not only the new Invoker archetype, Remnant 2 The Forgotten Kingdom DLC also introduces new weapons, such as the Crystal Staff. This powerful melee weapon not only packs a punch but also wields impressive magical abilities. If you’re eager to add this weapon to your arsenal, here’s a comprehensive guide on how to get the Crystal Staff in Remnant 2.
Before you go on your quest for the Crystal Staff, you’ll need to gain access to the Infested Abyss, a hidden area within the Ancient Canopy zone.
As you progress through this initial area, keep an eye out for a path on the right side leading to a waterfall. Jump through it to uncover a secret room containing the entrance to the Infested Abyss.
Ensure you’re well-equipped with healing abilities, as the journey ahead will be perilous, even on the lowest difficulty settings.
Within the Infested Abyss, you’ll encounter the Root Nexus blockades. These organ-like walls stand in your way, emitting a toxic red fog that relentlessly saps your health. To clear the path and reach the Crystal Staff, you must destroy three of these Root Nexus blockades.
Once you begin attacking a Root Nexus, enemies will spawn to defend it. Rather than recklessly attempting to destroy the blockade while fending off these foes, it’s advisable to whittle down its health by approximately 25% and then focus on eliminating the spawned enemies.
Repeat this process until the Root Nexus falls, taking care not to become overwhelmed by the onslaught of enemies. The poisonous fog, while harmful, can be mitigated with effective healing abilities.
After overcoming the three Root Nexus blockades, you’ll finally reach the bottom level of the Infested Abyss. Here, a sarcophagus containing a mummified figure clutching the coveted Crystal Staff awaits you. Claim it and prepare to harness its unique capabilities.
The Crystal Staff is a great addition to your weapon arsenal, boasting impressive melee capabilities and the ability to cast two distinct types of magic spells.
Even if melee combat isn’t your preferred playstyle in Remnant 2, the Crystal Staff’s versatility and sheer power make it a must-try addition to your loadout.
Getting the Crystal Staff in Remnant 2 The Forgotten Kingdom is not an easy task. However, you will not regret the decision to power through the challenges, because this weapon is worth the trouble!
