If you’ve been waiting to play Stellar Blade, but don’t have PS5, there is great news today! Shift Up has officially announced that their hit action game is coming to PC in 2025. Here’s everything you need to know about this exciting port.
Stellar Blade tells the story of Eve, a powerful warrior fighting to save Earth from alien creatures called Naytibas. The game has been a PS5 exclusive since its April 2024 release, where it quickly sold over a million copies.
In 2025, you will get to play this game on PC. When it arrives on PC, you’ll get the base game, complete with all post-launch updates. Moreover, you will also get the upcoming NieR: Automata crossover content, photo-made features, and any additional content released before 2025.
Shift Up believes the PC version of the game might actually outperform the PS5 version, pointing to two main factors: Steam’s increasing influence in the AAA games market and the major success of similar titles like Black Myth: Wukong on PC.
The PS5 version is still doing well, with steady sales even after the launch period and regular content updates are keeping players interested with positive community feedback.
Additionally, an upcoming collaboration with NieR: Automata is set to launch on November 20th, 2024, which could further boost interest and activity on both platforms.
While specific details haven’t been announced yet, PC players can expect some key improvements. These might include higher frame rates, enhanced graphics options, customizable controls, and possibly mod support. Plus, all the content updates from the PS5 version are likely to be included as well.
We are also sure that Shift Up will maintain the game’s popularity through regular content updates, special events and collaborations, and continued community engagement.
While we don’t have an exact release date yet, this announcement shows that Stellar Blade will finally be able to be played by a wider audience.
