The Cost of Lost Memories: A Bittersweet End

If you choose to accept Adam’s offer in the Selection of Species mission, you will face Providence as the final boss in the Cost of Lost Memories ending. After becoming one with Adam, Providence loses control and receives a command to eliminate Eve.

To reach the end of this path, you must beat Providence in a very challenging battle. Once you will, Eve will confront the deployed Airborne Squad members, fueled by anger and a desire for revenge because of Lily’s death and Mother Sphere’s betrayal.

Return to the Colony: Siding with Mother Sphere

If you refused Adam’s offer in the previous mission, you will find yourself on the path to the Return to the Colony ending. In this scenario, the only way to eliminate the Elder Naytiba is through combat.

First, you must fight and defeat Adam, revealing the true form of the Elder Naytiba. The real battle then begins, as you must take down the Elder Naytiba to fulfill your mission and align with Mother Sphere’s ideologies. Upon achieving victory, Eve and Lily will be granted passage back to the colony.

Making New Memories: The True Ending

To experience the Making New Memories ending, you must have achieved 100% affinity with Lily and chosen to accept Adam’s offer in the Selection of Species mission. This path shares similarities with the Cost of Lost Memories ending but offers a more hopeful outcome.

As in the Cost of Lost Memories ending, you need to take down the Providence after fusing with Adam. However, in this version of events, Lily manages to escape Providence’s grasp, allowing her to survive the battle.

After defeating Providence, Eve must once again battle the Airborne Squad members. Emerge victorious to witness the true ending of the journey and the culmination of the choices made throughout Stellar Blade.

How to Defeat The Elder Naytiba (Adam) in Stellar Blade

The EVE Protocol mission features several challenging boss encounters, each requiring unique strategies to overcome.

When fighting Providence, be ready to dodge its initial powerful combos. Be cautious of a one-shot move when its HP is around 50%. To stop this attack, shoot the six blue indicators on Providence’s back. When its HP reaches 40%, Providence gets a buff from Elder Naytiba, making the fight harder.

In the “Return to the Colony” path, you encounter Adam, who has a single attack pattern. After defeating him, the formidable Elder Naytiba appears.

This boss often teleports and unleashes strong melee attacks. It also performs a one-shot move at 70% and 20% HP. To stop this move, shoot the six flying angels that appear during the attack.

The Truth Behind EVE Protocol

As you progress in Stellar Blade, you will learn about the EVE Protocol, initially thought to save Earth from the Naytiba. However, in the end, you will discover that Mother Sphere, the supposed savior, waged war against humanity with Andro-Eidos androids.

Eve, also an Andro-Eidos, realizes the protocol aims to wipe out humanity. This revelation challenges her beliefs and leads to critical decisions in the game’s ending.
