Find out how to complete the Eye of the Hurricane mission in Stellar Blade in this guide. We’ll explain everything you need to know!
Eye of the Hurricane, the eleventh main mission after the Secret Garden mission in Stellar Blade, is quite a challenging journey that will take you through the dangerous environments of Spire 4 and the Orbit Elevator.
As the crew makes their way to the Central Core, they must navigate through a series of obstacles, face four powerful bosses, and uncover hidden secrets.
This in-depth guide provides a comprehensive walkthrough of the mission, detailing key locations, objectives, and tips for overcoming the challenges that lie ahead.
The mission begins at the Orca Space Complex, where you must follow the path leading to the Orbit Elevator. Along the way, you will encounter a water-filled cave that requires diving to reach the other side.
To progress further, you then need to close the floodgate by climbing the ladders on the left side of the wall and interacting with the terminal. Once the floodgate is closed, a hidden bunker will be revealed, containing a passcode guarded by a Naytiba.
After obtaining the passcode, make your way up the water gate to open the locked door. In the upcoming cave, you’ll need to showcase your platforming abilities by leaping across ledges to cross a crevice in the middle of the path.
Once you reach the Hypertube facility, you must locate and switch on the generator on the left side of the lower floor to initiate the power link device.
Next, you will need to activate three link devices scattered throughout the area to fully power up the Hypertube. Once all link devices are active, operate the power link device to get the Hypertube running.
You will do the surfing animation when entering the Hypertube, where you must skillfully avoid obstacles to safely reach the other side. During this sequence, players will face their first encounter with Belial, an Elite Naytiba.
In this initial battle, Belial will escape once his HP drops to around 70%. Here is a breakdown of Belial’s attacks:
Attack | Description |
Glowing Blades | When Belial charges at you with its blades glowing red, it’s best to dodge instead of attempting to parry. |
Shockwave | When Belial’s health drops to 1 percent, quickly dodge and move away as it will unleash a shockwave and regenerate its HP. This will occur three times in total during the fight. |
Blocking attacks | When Belial blocks your attacks, utilize your Beta Skill to break through its defense and deal damage. |
The Space Logistics Complex features various challenges that will test your reflexes and problem-solving skills. From falling freights to plasma turrets and conveyor systems, you must navigate these hazards using cover, fast running, precise timing, and quick thinking.
To reach the Raphael Space Center, you must climb stacked containers, use swinging boxes to access ladders and pass through marked walls while evading a vertically moving machine. Each obstacle demands a unique approach, making sure you remain engaged and challenged throughout the area.
Inside the Raphael Space Center, you must locate a fallen Legionaire behind a counter on the left side of the area to get the Gate 2 passcode.
After defeating the Naytibas inside the terminal, solve the Gate 2 puzzle by providing the proper pathing for each power supply within the time limit.
After that, make your way to Gate 3, located on the opposite side. Be prepared because as usual, you will deal with lots of enemies. In the end, you will face Belial again for the second time, and this encounter requires defeating him to proceed.
After the battle, activate the control device nearby to power up the elevator leading to the Cargo Lift.
In Cargo Lift 121, you need to place a box next to a freight box with a yellow marking to clear a blockage in the shaft. Proceed upwards on the opposite side of the cargo lift to reach the Maintenance Sector.
Navigate through the marked walls and ledges to exit the tower and enter the Tower Outer Wall.
Here, you must use moving platforms and travel on the ledges and jumping on the flying metal bars to ascend to the top platform. This mission requires careful timing and precision, as one misstep can send you falling down.
Reach the other end of the Prestige Lounge, unlocking the Supply Camp to the right before proceeding to the Vermillion Garden.
In this area, you will face the powerful robotic boss, Karakuri. This encounter will test your mastery of combat mechanics, as Karakuri employs a variety of attacks and summons drones that can disable Beta and Fury abilities.
Attack | Description |
Laser Blast | Watch out for Karakuri’s laser attack at the start of the fight. |
Claw Swipe | Karakuri’s claws glow when it attacks. |
Area of Effect (AoE) Attack | When Karakuri’s face glows yellow, quickly dodge to create distance, as it will unleash a devastating AoE attack. |
Small Bot Deployment | Karakuri often deploys small bots that explode and cause damage. |
Quick Time Event (QTE) Finisher | Toward the end of the fight, follow the on-screen prompt to press Triangle and trigger the QTE event. Eve will open Karakuri’s head, leading to its defeat. |
After defeating Karakuri, head back to the previous area and take the elevator to the Central Core.
In the High Orbit Station, climb the moving ledges to reach the top floor, as the Orbit Elevator is unable to reach the Central Core due to its poor condition. Just the same as mini missions above, this final ascent requires precise timing and quick reflexes to avoid falling.
Finally, in the Central Core, you will first face the fearsome Democrawler and on the next phase it will change to Demogorgon. Here is the summary for Democrawler’s attacks:
Attack | Description |
Claw Swipe | Watch for Democrawler’s claws to glow yellow, indicating an incoming attack. |
Jump Back and Shockwave | Democrawler often jumps back. Instead of rushing at it, wait for it to unleash a shockwave, which you can avoid by jumping. |
Projectile Throw | Democrawler throws projectiles that you should dodge. |
Summoned Beams of Light | It summons beams of light that you can evade by stepping out of the area of effect or dodging. |
Gigantic Light Ring Attack | When Democrawler’s health drops below 50 percent, it summons a gigantic light ring atop its head, showering you with projectiles. |
Double Shockwave | Democrawler may release two shockwaves instead of one, so be cautious while jumping. |
In the second phase, Democrawler transforms into the Demogorgon, which appears frightening. Despite its appearance, the battle isn’t overly difficult, especially with ranged attacks.
These final battles will push you to your limits, requiring you to use all the skills and upgrades you have acquired throughout your journey.
The Eye of the Hurricane mission in Stellar Blade is a lengthy and challenging journey that will test your skill in adaptability and resolving problems.
By following this in-depth guide and using the strategies outlined for each boss encounter, we hope that you will be well-prepared to overcome the challenges that stand between you and your ultimate goal in Stellar Blade!
