Light of Hope, the fifth main mission in Stellar Blade, serves as a transitional quest between the intense Altess Levoire and the upcoming Alpha Signal missions. While this mission may not be as action-packed as others, it provides a much-needed breather for players to explore the evolving city of Xion and take on new side quests.

Step 1: Return to Xion

After successfully completing the Altess Levoire mission and securing the second Hyper Cell, it’s time to head back to Xion. To do so, simply interact with Adam near the Tetrapod in the Wasteland area. You also have the option to speak with Lily and use the Console Repair before departing.

Step 2: Unlocking the Can Cabinet and Hairstyles

Upon landing at the Safehouse in Xion, you will notice a new addition courtesy of Lily: the Can Cabinet. This device not only displays the number of cans collected thus far but also offers rewards for every seven cans acquired. Be sure to interact with the cabinet to claim these rewards, as they are not automatically granted.

After you are introduced to the Can Cabinet, you will also be able to unlock the Hair Salon in Stellar Blade. First, you must go to the town center and look for Gwen’s Salon. Interact with Kasim outside the salon to receive “The First Customer” quest. After completing some missions from Kasim, you will be able to unlock the Hair Salon and change Eve’s hairstyle.

Step 3: Proceeding to the Presence Chamber

Before making your way to Orcal in the Presence Chamber, you will encounter a guard at the entrance of Xion. Speaking with this guard will trigger the “Urgent Information” side quest, adding another task to your growing list of objectives.

Once you reach the Presence Chamber, you’ll be transported to the Hyper Cell room, where Eve will insert the newly acquired Hyper Cell. After this brief event, return to the Presence Chamber and speak with Orcal once more. He will direct you to Matrix 11, where a new Alpha Naytiba has been detected.

Step 4: A Changing Xion

As you return to the center of town alongside Adam and Lily, you’ll immediately notice the changes taking place in Xion. The city is now bustling with more people, leading to an influx of new Citizen Requests. Adam encourages you to take some time to explore and interact with the citizens of Xion.

This is an excellent opportunity to tackle new side quests, which can be obtained by speaking with NPCs marked with exclamation points on your map or by visiting the Bulletin Board.

Step 5: Preparing for Matrix 11

When you’re ready to progress the main storyline, head back to the Tetrapod in the Safehouse. Here, Lily will present you with two new inventions: an Alpha locator signal to help pinpoint the next Alpha Naytiba’s location and an upgrade to Eve’s body that allows her to Double Jump.

To embark on the next mission, simply speak with Adam and select the option to travel to Matrix 11.
