Learn all you need to know about servants in V Rising with this detailed guide.

Unleash your inner vampire overlord in V Rising by commanding loyal servants. This guide will walk you through the process of Servant Coffins to ultimately having your own servants. Whether you’re a new or experienced player, mastering servants is crucial for dominating the game.

How to Get Servants in V Rising

The first step to getting servants is building Servant Coffins in your castle. Unlock this ability by progressing to the second level of the Castle Heart.

Each coffin requires 16 Planks, 8 Copper Ingots, and 1 Greater Blood Essence. Strategically construct these coffins in a room with a Crypt Floor to halve the 90-minute servant conversion time to 45 minutes.

There is a limit to how many Servant Coffins you can build based on your Castle Heart level. Start with 5 coffins initially, and increase this number as you level up the heart further. Place the coffins thoughtfully, as they are an investment that will yield greater resource gathering down the line.

Choosing the Right Servant Type

Servants come in various blood types (Warrior, Brute, Worker etc.) and factions (Bandit, Militia etc.), each excelling in specific areas. Their blood type reduces the difficulty of certain raid locations, while their faction increases resources obtained from corresponding map areas.

Consider your resource needs and choose humans from relevant locations accordingly. For instance, grab a Scholar (blood type) from the Militia (faction) to raid Monasteries in Dunley Farmlands efficiently. The higher the percentage of “pure” blood, the better the servant will perform.

Charming and Converting Humans

Once you’ve built Servant Coffins, the Dominating Presence power unlocks, applied via Kiss of the Vampire. Use this ranged attack to charm humans by reducing their health below 30% without killing them. Charmed humans will then follow you around.

You can only charm one human at a time, so take them to an empty coffin and interact with it to convert them into a servant, costing 100 Blood Essence.

If you find a better candidate mid-journey, simply kill the current charmed human and charm the other target.

Equipping and Commanding Servants

After the 45-90 minute conversion process, release your new servant by interacting with their coffin and naming them. Open their inventory and equip them with the best available weapons and armor from your current loot. One weapon is enough, giving them more has no added benefit.

Next, build a Castle Throne using 24 Stone Bricks, 16 Iron Ingots, and 4 Greater Blood Essences. Interact with the throne to access a map displaying discovered locations suitable for servant raids.

Servant Management

While servants can perform any task, matching their blood type and faction optimizes raids. Analyze each location’s difficulty rating, estimated loot, recommended servant types, and set the desired hunt duration from 2-23 hours before dispatching servants.

  • The longer the hunt, the more resources gathered but higher risk of servant injury or death.
  • Monitor performance and resurrect fallen ones from their coffin for a Blood Essence cost.
  • Replenish equipment regularly and cycle servants to maximize gains.

With strategic servant deployment across Vardoran’s unforgiving landscapes, you’ll amass resources faster than ever before – fortifying your castle and solidifying your dominance as an unstoppable vampiric force.
