Post-Game Content in Visions of Mana
There are multiple post-game activities available in Vision of Mana, here they are:
Chapter 10
When you complete the main story, you can save your game. Reloading this saved data will unlock Chapter 10, a bonus chapter that keeps the adventure going. It’s a great chance to finish up anything left and explore new things.
New Game+ A Fresh Start with Perks
In New Game Plus, many things from your previous game will carry over. First, your character levels, stats, and experience stay the same, so you can keep building on what you’ve already done. All Elemental Vessels and Points also carry over, with the Points being refunded so you can change your character’s abilities if you want. The state of the Elemental Plot will continue in the new game as well.
You’ll also keep your Lucre (Gold), Gold Clovers, and all your items, including weapons and armor. Any gear your characters were using will still be equipped. The progress you made in the Grizzly Exchange Shop and Niccolo’s Emporium will carry over too, so nothing is lost there.
All Li’l Cactus rewards and diary entries are saved, so you won’t miss out on anything. Tutorials that you’ve already seen won’t show up again, making things smoother. Lastly, the game will start with the difficulty level you pick, but you can change it anytime in the settings menu.
Expert Difficulty
For experienced players, Expert Difficulty unlocks after finishing the game. This mode has tougher enemies than Hard Mode, giving a real challenge.
Exclusive Post-Game Rewards
Completing the main story unlocks several exclusive items:
- Blessing of Mana Ability Seed: Fully restores all party members’ HP after battle.
- Elemental Plot Limit Break items: Available in the Grizzly Exchange Shop.
- Character Vessels and Bonds: New items in Niccolo’s Emporium that increase ability slots and overwrite character status.
Hidden Boss
An inaccessible area in the final dungeon opens up post-game revealing a powerful hidden boss. It’s recommended to level characters to 80 and equip the best gear before attempting this challenge.
