When Will Hades 2 Release on PS5, Xbox & Switch?

Hades 2, the sequel to the critically acclaimed roguelike game, has finally entered Early Access on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Players can now dive into the underworld and experience the game’s new protagonist, Melinoe, as she battles through the depths of Erebus.
However, console gamers eagerly awaiting the release of Hades 2 on PS5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch may have to wait a bit longer.
Hades 2 Console Release Date
Based on the development and release timeline of the original Hades, we can make some educated guesses about when Hades 2 might arrive on consoles. The first game launched in Early Access on PC in December 2018, with a full release on PC and Nintendo Switch in September 2020. The PlayStation and Xbox versions followed nearly a year later in August 2021.
If Hades 2 follows a similar pattern, the earliest we might see a console release would be late 2025, but a 2026 launch seems more likely. Keep in mind that these are just speculations based on the previous game’s development cycle, and Supergiant Games hasn’t provided any official information regarding a console release date.
Early Access Phase and Content
Currently, Hades 2 is only available in Early Access on PC platforms. The game already boasts more content than the original Hades had at its full release, including:
