Born in the New Federation, Aalto is affiliated with the Black Shores, a mysterious organization focused on gathering intelligence. He works alongside Encore as a Consultant, making them close allies.
In Wuthering Waves, Aalto is an Aero Congenital Resonator, allowing him to harness the power of wind and manipulate Mist to his advantage.
Aalto’s Weapon in Wuthering Waves
Aalto’s weapon of choice in Wuthering Waves is the Pistols, which he uses to perform consecutive shots and create Mist with his fourth Basic Attack. When bullets pass through Mist, they deal additional Aero damage to enemies.
Aalto’s Skill and Abilities
Aalto’s Basic Attack in Wuthering Waves is called Half Truths. Here is the breakdown of his basic attack:

Aalto’s kit revolves around his ability to generate and use Mist to enhance his attacks and provide tactical advantages. His Resonance Skill, Shift Trick, allows him to cast Mist and summon a Mist Avatar that taunts surrounding targets. The avatar inherits a portion of Aalto’s health and generates six Mist Bullets, causing Aero damage.
Aalto’s Resonance Liberation, Flower in the Mist, creates a Gate of Quandary that increases the attack of bullets passing through it for 10 seconds.
Aalto’s Ascension and Skill Upgrade Materials
To fully ascend Aalto and upgrade his skills, players will need to gather various materials, including:
- LF, MF, HF, and FF Howler Cores
- Roaring Rock Fists
- Wintry Bells
- Impure, Extracted, Refined, and Flawless Phlogiston
- Monument Bells
- Shell Credits
While most of these materials can be obtained through gameplay, Wintry Bells must be gathered from the game’s map.
