To access this quest, you must first complete the previous two parts and wait an additional 24 hours after finishing the second quest. The Fabled Magnetic Cube Mechanics 3 Quest Walkthrough
Once the 24-hour waiting period has elapsed after completing the second quest, head to the designated teleport waypoint located near the quest area which is Tiger’s Maw Mine. From there, jump down and interact with the two NPCs, Mizhi and Qingshu to begin the Fabled Magnetic Cube Mechanics 3 quest.
In this quest, you will encounter teleporters above the tiles which play a crucial role in solving the magnetic cube puzzles. When you push the cube towards a colored halo ring surrounding the tile, it will teleport to the corresponding tile with the same halo color. Keep this mechanic in mind while attempting to solve the puzzles:
The First Puzzle
To complete the first puzzle, follow these steps and move the cube:
- Left
- Left
- Up
- Down
- Up
- Up
After successfully guiding the cube to its destination, interact with the NPCs to proceed.
The Second Puzzle
For the second puzzle, use the following sequence:
- Push the cube up and hit the console to enable the second tile on the second row.
- Then, move the cube right
- And push it back to the left
- Next, move the cube to the right, it will teleport down to the second tile on the third row
- Use the console to enable the first tile on the third row
- Move the cube to the left
- Go back and move the cube to the right, so that it teleports upward.
- Last one, move the cube up again
Once the cube reaches its target, speak with the NPCs again.
The Final Puzzle
The last puzzle is slightly more complex, but can be solved using these steps:
- First, use the console and then move the cube right, down, and then down again
- Use the console again, and move the cube right first, and then left
- Next, move the cube in this sequence without using the console at all: up, up, and left
- Use the console for the last time, and the last moves are right and down
After completing the final puzzle, report to the two NPCs one last time.
Upon completing all three puzzles, the Mizhi will reveal the location of a hidden chest as a reward. Follow their directions and make your way to the specified area.
