Wuthering Waves, the latest gacha action RPG, offers players a vast open world to explore and challenging endgame content to tackle. One of the most important endgame activities is the Tower of Adversity.

This guide will cover how to unlock the Tower of Adversity, its location, the different challenge zones, and the rewards players can earn.

How to Unlock the Tower of Adversity in Wuthering Waves?

To gain access to the Tower of Adversity in Wuthering Waves, players must first reach Union Level 15. This can take around 8-12 hours of gameplay, depending on how efficiently quests are completed. Focus on quests that provide the most Union Level XP to reach level 15 faster.

Once Union Level 15 is attained, the “Alone in the Abyss” quest will become available in the Tutorial Quests section. Completing this quest will lead players directly to the Tower of Adversity.

Tower of Adversity Location in Wuthering Waves

The Tower of Adversity is situated on an island to the east of Jinzhou. Players can identify the correct island by the gold-colored rings in the sky above it. To reach the island, use a combination of grappling and gliding through these rings.

Upon landing on the island, head west along the edge to find the Tower of Adversity. The entrance is marked by a large orange triangle on the door.

Tower of Adversity Challenge Zones

The Tower of Adversity consists of three main challenge zones, each with increasing difficulty:

1. Stable Zone: Contains one challenge area with four stages. Recommended for Resonators level 30-40.
2. Experiment Zone: Features two challenge areas with a total of eight stages. Requires at least two teams of three Resonators each. Recommended for Resonators level 60-70 with decent skill levels and Echo upgrades.
3. Hazard Zone: Includes three challenge areas with ten stages in total. Challenges and rewards reset periodically, making it the ultimate endgame content. Requires fully leveled Resonators, Weapons, and Echoes.

In each zone, players must defeat enemies within the time limit to earn stars based on their clear time. The more stars earned, the better the rewards.

Tower of Adversity Rewards

Completing challenges in the Tower of Adversity grants players various rewards, including:

• Astrite (premium currency)
• Shell Credits
• Hazard Records (exchangeable for upgrade materials)

The amount and quality of rewards increase with the number of stars earned in each challenge zone.

Additionally, clearing both the Stable Zone and Experiment Zone for the first time rewards players with the 4-star Electro Resonator Yuanwu.
