How to Unlock the Barrier to Olympus in Hades 2

How to break the barrier to Olympus in Hades 2
Unlike the simple magic often wielded in the Underworld, breaking this barrier requires a unique spell: the Permeation of Witching-Wards incantation. This incantation, crucial for dispelling the barrier, becomes accessible as players progress through Hades 2. However, unlocking it is no easy feat and demands time and perseverance, requiring multiple runs through the depths of Chronos’ domain.
To unlock the Permeation of Witching-Wards incantation, players must gather specific ingredients:
Cinder and Moly can be found in Erebus, the initial region players must navigate in Hades 2. Cinder is acquired by defeating Hecate, the Guardian of Erebus, before advancing to the next area. Meanwhile, Moly, a yellow flower, can be spotted on the map’s outskirts upon entering a new location in Erebus.
Of the required ingredients, Shadow poses the greatest challenge to obtain. Players acquire Shadow by initiating a sequence of events that lead them to understand Olympus’ dire need for assistance. Through interactions with various characters like Hermes and Hecate, players progress through multiple runs, ultimately unlocking the Alchemy technique Shadow Extraction.
