Yamato is one of the coolest-looking heroes in Deadlock. As a samurai/ninja, he excels in close-combat DPS. To make him both deadly and durable, it’s crucial to build him with the right items. This guide will cover the best Yamato build in Deadlock.
All heroes in Deadlock have four abilities, including an ultimate. Here is the complete list of Yamato’s skills:
Flying Strike and Shadow Transformation are Yamato’s core skills. Make sure to prioritize maxing these out first to fully harness his close-combat potential.
To maximize Yamato’s capabilities, follow this item build. You can also set this build as your preset in-game by searching for “Yamato GameWitted” in the browse build section.
Yamato needs to farm Souls effectively, so start by purchasing Sprint Boots, High-Velocity Mag, Close Quarters, and Ammo Scavenger.
Next, get Extra Regen and Extra Stamina to boost your survivability during laning. After that, pick up Kinetic Dash and Suppressor to help you secure enemy kills.
As you enter the mid-game, first acquire Quicksilver Reload to imbue your Flying Strike skill. Then, buy Enduring Speed, Bullet Resist Shredder, and Bullet Lifesteal to enable a more aggressive playstyle.
Save up to purchase Siphon Bullets. Although it’s a tier-3 item, it’s crucial for making Yamato deadly in battles.
Finally, get Point Blank, Healing Booster, and Berserker to further enhance Yamato’s damage output and overall effectiveness. You can sell Extra Regen to make a slot for Healing Booster and switch Monster Rounds for Berserker.
As you enter the late-game, start by acquiring Superior Stamina and Headhunter.
Next, get Burst Fire and Glass Cannon, but ensure you have unlocked your Flex Slots first to equip these items.
Afterward, sell Bullet Lifesteal and switch to Leech. Finally, round out the build with Diviner’s Kevlar and Frenzy to complete Yamato’s late-game setup.
By following this guide, you can create the best Yamato build in Deadlock and chase your enemies to death.
